1915 original Model T Roadster This is a fine example of the final year of the Brass Era model t Fords. It runs quite well on a recently installed 12 volt battery. It does not run well on mag. The car is quite tour ready as a good deal of expert mechanical repair work has been done recently. The front end has new spindle bushings, new spring shackle bushings, new tie rod ball cap kits, wheel bearings & cups were replaced as needed and new grease seals were installed. The timer and headlight wiring are new. 12 volt bulbs are used in the headlights which run off the mag for current. The motor is in good running order. The timer is new, carburetor has been cleaned, new water hoses installed, fan assembly rebuilt, new fan belt, correctly tuned. It has a very good water pump which does not leak.. The transmission has new Kevlar bands, new slow speed pedal notch and support, new band springs and rebabbitted ball cap. The rear end was taken apart for inspection and new thrust washers were installed along with new modern improved grease seals. All five tires while not new have plenty of tread and are serviceable Wards Riverside. The wheel spokes are tight and freshly painted. This year had no electric starter but it starts well by using the crank and powering the coils with the 12 volt battery. Windshield glass is in very good condition as well as the folding top. The bottom seat cushion is in good shape with only a small tear and is not the correct material and is not diamond pleated ( available from Cartouche). The paint looks fine for touring and parades but is not of show quality having chips and blemishes although it has a fine shine to it. Sold with a bill of sale only! The vehicle is not currently registered as it has been used only on private property. Inspection is welcome by appointment and no trades accepted.
