This is the only example of a factory-built Gazelle I have seen. That means it was built to some decent standard. It is a simple to drive , simple to work on car. It gets over 30 MPG. It has a 1600 dual port VW air cooled engine with unknown miles, as stated the car shows 3200 miles and I drive it a lot. The brakes have been rebuilt with new wheel cyl. and lines, also has new ball joints and shocks. This isnt for a person over 5' 11" without some changes, just my opinion. Tires are like new seats are ok. Dash and running boards are solid mahogony. It has some hairline cracks in the gell coat on the front of the front fenders which dont require new paint but a clear coat will fill them, they are not that noticible. Top is like new with a cover and it has one side window that snaps in. This car history is unknown to me, it must have been stored most of its life, the year of the chassis does not reflect the year it was built. I have $5000 in total coverage with State F. for 20 a month. It has an ugaa horn, and will pass inspection, turn light, bright dim,ect. has a clear title.
