This car was bought by a friend of the family new in 1986, the original owner sold this car to my cousin who absolutely loved this car and took extremely good care of it, always serviced on time, never put in snow or mud, and garage kept.I bought it from my cousin last year due to his decline in health and financial situation. I only put around 1800 miles since i bought it and it's an awesome car, it always turns heads wherever i go. This beautiful car is in the best condition of any Eagle of this model i have ever seen, including on ebay. The engine is top notch and runs like new, i just recently had it serviced and changed the spark plugs and wires on it. I have never had a problem with this car mechanically. My cousin had replaced the Brake Master Cylinder, Clutch Master Cylinder, Clutch Slave Cylinder. And he had an exhaust leak repaired by a certified mechanic shop, and i do have the original invoice from this repair. I will include a manual and the invoice to the winner of this car. Lets talk about rust, i have seen many AMC of all models and 85% of what i have seen had some kind of rust damage to the car. Well not this one it has been so well maintained and taken care of that it's immaculate. The body has no rust at all, the fenderwells no rust, door jambs no rust, the undercarriage rust free, as u can see from the pictures. I guarantee this is one of the nicest AMC Eagles you will find today. The interior is all original with nothing added or taken away, the seats are leather and cloth, the carpet is in excellent condition, all door handles work, all windows work, glove box works fine, sun visors are in great shape still. The headliner does not sag at all and its super clean as u will see from the pictures. Everything is in working order all lights, blinkers, wipers, brakes, power steering, four wheel drive, this car is ready to go across country or take it around town, i wouldnt hesitate driving it from GA to CA and back to NY. This car will last someone a very long time and with only 59K original miles, its still not broke in enough to call it used. I really hope an AMC lover will win this car as i know its a beautiful car and you probably will not see another like this and in this condition.
