Up for sale is my 98 Ford Club Wagon Van. I originally bought it from a government sale in San Diego in 05. At the time it had 42k miles on it. It now has 101k original miles on it. The transmission was rebuilt in 05. It was built to towing spec so I could pull a trailer around the country. In 07 a motor sensor went bad and was replaced. Other than those fixes this vehicle has run flawless and given me many miles trouble free. The front brakes have recently been replaced, rotors and pads, the rears are still good but I will include a set of new rear pads with the sale. The tires were replaced last year and have less than 800 miles on them. The AC was inspected and recharged two months ago by my local Ford dealer, and at that time was given an inspection for required service which it needed none. I use this van maybe 10 times a month on weekends with my children or to run errands. This is a great van that Im selling simply because I dont use it that much. This is a used van that has scratches and some small paint chips. The interior is a 9 out of 10 in my book with a crack in the back plastic (small) by the jack space and an original (when I bought it) rip in the carpet near the double doors. The body is dent free with minor paint chipping. No rust holes at all, very clean original paint. Ive changed the motor oil every 3-5k miles and will be changed and new upon sale ready for the new owner. The rest of the motor is in original factory condition missing nothing. Over all this is a well kept, great running van. It rides great, full cabin AC and towing package. I would not hesitate to jump in and drive anywhere in the country. And I have on several occasions. If it were not for the lack of use, Id keep it. I have set a reasonable reserve based on other vehicles Ive seen in same age-condition. It is below blue book or national average.
