This is the rarest of the 1950's MG's, a front-engine, rear-drive, two-seater roadster. This example drives superbly with its live-beam rear axle, and independent coil spring wishbone suspension. This car has had two California owners from new. This MG has solid floors and zero rust. Sporting its original wire wheels and excellent chrome, perfect shifting synchros, everything working as it should. The primrose yellow paint on red leather makes this a stunning driver; absolutely no issues and a solid example. This was the feature car in Collectible Automobile's October 1995 issue. Matching numbers engine which is an enlarged version called XPEG, was test proven on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, making this desirable MG practical for everyday use. Many eye this model as the most beautiful MG ever built, and fast appreciating in the collector car market today. The soft-top and toneau cover are original and in excellent condition.
