Vehicle Detail
This is a good, economical car for a student or for anyone wanting a cheap commuter. I think that the only way you'd know this car has 192K on it is by looking at the odometer. It's very tight and solid for a 22 year old car! It has been completely reliable and I wouldn't be concerned about driving it anywhere. It runs smooth and quiet and gets good mileage. The paint has faded and has 22 years worth of dings and scratches, but the body is straight and 99.9% rust free (look at the last picture to see some bubbling on the left, rear fender). Everything works, including the warning light panel that tells you when something isn't working. Good A/C. The stereo is an AM/FM single CD. Nothing special, but it plays music. Mileage has been around 35 on the highway and 32 in town during the summer and about 28 when it's cold. The motor was replaced/rebuilt at some point, but the previous owner can't remember what the mileage was at that point. I'd be surprised if it has 50,000 miles on it. I've changed the oil every 3000 miles and it's always right at the full mark and is the color of light maple syrup. It doesn't leak anything or burn any oil! Since I've owned it I've put on new front brake pads and rotors, CV shafts, water pump and windshield. It's also been tuned up and the tires have about 18,000 miles on them and have more than 50% tread remaining. The interior shows some weathering. The top of the rear seat is ... not too good (see the pic). The driver's seat is also worn, so I put seat covers on it. It's just sum damage that was there when I bought it. There shouldn't be any disappointments with this car. Even with 192k on it, it's still very solid and reliable. If you don't like it after seeing it we can cancel the deal. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking!
