Vehicle Detail

I am reluctantly selling my 1951 Studebaker Champion. I have a note coming due on some other vehicles so I need to get some cash. This is a very solid car that you can hop in and drive. All floors, truck and frame are solid. When I purchased it the primer was already on it and it will need very little body work before painting. It runs and drives great. It has the 6 cylinder and 3 speed with overdrive. The mileage is unknown, I just had to put something in the field to list it. The previous owner put a plate over the overdrive selenoid so it stays in high. It drives fine without the lower part of the overdrive. I do have another transmission that I will let go with the car so you can swap out selenoids or the whole transmission. I restored the brake system with new lines, master cylinder, shoes, wheel cylinders. The gas tank was professionally cleaned and coated. I put a new wiring harness on the car and 90% of things are working. The exhaust manifold needs a gasket but I have waited on that since I was close to getting a split exhaust and dual carburetor setup. The seats and door panels have been redone. There is no headliner. The carpet is just some cheap thin stuff. The windshield glass is somewhat hazy and the drivers window is cracked. Bumpers are pretty smooth but the bumperettes have some dents. The chrome is a little pitted around headlights and hood ornament. The car runs great and does not smoke. The clutch is strong. I have the stock wheels that came on the car also. I had this at the Good Guys car show in Dallas. It is amazing how many people came and commented on the car with it sitting by show cars that had thousands of dollars in them. You can drive as is. Repaint back to a stock look. You could do a great rat rod or gasser look. If you have any questions or need more pictures feel free to contact me. There is a chance the car could be delivered for some gas money to someone between Texas and Nebraska as I will be heading there in a couple of weeks. My cell number is 903-277-1742. Please ask questions before you bid. I am also selling this vehicle locally
