For auction here is the little car I received from my Dad. We have been storing the car since he could no longer drive it and it has been sitting for about two years now. It needs a good home while it is still in pretty good shape. I consider the car a project vehicle, since it is not running and it will take some work to get it back on the road. I just don't have the time to put into it, so here she is for sale. Here is what I know about the little Mustang: -Dad bought the car in 1994 and I took it here to my house about 3 years ago. My wife and I drove it and even drove it in a parade once. -260 V8 which was running two years ago when the idler pulley broke while my wife was driving it. We parked it behind my shop and the gas went stale, so it has not run since, and is not running today. I think it would take a mechanic to bring it back to life. -The odometer reads 9,999 but I suspect it has rolled over, so I am listing it as 109,999 miles -The title lists the car as brown. I can see gold paint in the door sill, and bright yellow paint in the trunk and it is now bright orange, so I can not explain the color description. -Ford A/C which was working when we parked it. Probably needs to be vacuumed and re-charged. -Poppy Red (aka bright orange) exterior, black interior (vinyl ?) -The paint is dull on all top surfaces and the clear coat is pealed off in places. -The tires look dry rotted, but they hold air pressure. I would replace them if taking it on the road. -Rats moved in for about a year, but we finally glue-trapped and vacuumed the car back to a rat free state. -The carpet is pulled/damaged by the rats -The lower section of the rear seat has two holes from the rats -I can see wires hanging near the carb, by the passenger seat and under the back seat....all from the rats I think. -It has a jack, 4-way lug wrench and jack key and a generator (not sure if it is a good generator) -It has the plaid plastic trunk floor cover but it doesn't cover the right side completely. It may have been cut or trimmed?? -There is a bulge/peel over the passenger door. May be the only rust I found. If you want any specific pictures, please ask and feel free to ask any questions. On Nov-09-10 at 06:28:02 PST, seller added the following information: REVISED TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL INFO: My mother reminded me that the car was upgraded to include Power Steering. Apparently it was a costly improvement to help my father drive it in later years. I also remembered the lower, rear rocker-panel is dented/bent from when we towed it out from behind my shop. I wanted to make sure it is mentioned.
