2002 Audi S4 This car was a pleasure to own. It is fast, fun, comfortable and reliable. I purchased it Certified Preowned from an Audi Dealer in 2005 w/ 35000 +/- miles on it. Its previous life was a lease, but you wouldn't have know it. It was immaculate mechanically and cosmetically. Car miles are 80% highway, mainly 3 years ago. This car was adult driven, and the motor tells the story. Still has original turbos, they sound great, no whining or whirling sounds. No known gasket or vacuum leaks. Very tight and powerful. Car is fully loaded. Highly desirable 6 speed Manual gearbox and Pearl White paint on Black Leather interior. I don't know of any options that this car didn't have. Premium Bose stereo, 17 in wheels, NAV, heated seats, xenon lights, airbags galore, etc. Interior: In great shape. Carpet, leather, dash, console, and headliner all are in great condition. Drivers seat has typical wear for mileage, no splits or tears. Instrument cluster has some dead pixels in the display (typical problem). Climate Control buttons stick a little bit, no problem with function though. Drives floor mat has hole worn through at heel. Power seats, radio, heated seats, sunroof, gauges, windows, mirrors, column switches and signals all work perfectly. If I don't mention it, assume it works perfect. Knob on navigation control missing, as well as some data cd's. I doubt that will be issue given that now a $50 GPS is better than what came with the car. Exterior: Paint is practically perfect. No dents, dings, or major scratches. Air dam has scraped a couple of times but you would have to lay on your stomach to see it. The car was involved in 2 minor fender benders last year. (neither one my fault) NOTHING MECHANICAL WAS AFFECTED! Result is, car was painted from the front and rear and paint faded from both ends. Work was performed by one of the best body shops in the state (a Bentley Certified Center) As you probably know, Bentley is also owned by VW. Bottom line, car looks amazing. S4 Badge is missing because badge was ordered from Germany and the car was ready before badge came. I got the badge, was going to wait till I washed the car and lost it. Just haven't gotten around to getting another one. There is a badge on the grill however. All the light housings are crystal clear. Mechanically: This is a list of work that has been done sense owning the car Headlights motors were replaced under warranty in 2006Clutch and Flywheel was replaced in 2006, Sachs Clutch and lightweight flywheel - improvement over originalWater Pump, Timing and Brakes in 2008Aux Water Pump replaced 2 weeks agoTires are a little under half done. Don't know how much longer the brakes have, car was just in the shop though and they didn't mention needing them. They occasionally squeak sense the last brake job, had multiple people look at it and no one knows why. Work that has been done was performed by Blackforest Industries in Cary, a very reputable repair and performance shop specializing in VW brands. Here's a link to the site: http://www.blackforestindustries.com/. Last dealer factory service was 75,000. Blackforest has done any work sense and replaced parts only as necessary. I have only used synthetic oil and premium fuel in every tank. What needs to be done: CV joints in the front end need to be replaced. It makes a knocking noise when turning more than 45 degrees and accelerating. I have all the manuals, tool kit, valet key, and one keyless entry key. My brother recently lost the other key, if found I will send it to the new owner. Terms of Sale: $500 Deposit required within 24 hours of auction close.
