Vehicle Detail

1969 Mercury Marauder X-100. This vehicle has a 429 Thunderjet 4-barrel Engine (Factory N-code) with a C6 Automatic Transmission. I had the car running approximately 4 years ago and it has not been started since. At the time it ran great and the transmission shifted smoothly. This Marauder is a factory Bucket Seat model with center console. The car came equipped with power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. The gentleman that owned the vehicle before me, purchased the car with approximately the same mileage that the odometer shows now. It is my understanding that he had an argument with his son and parked the car refusing to touch it again. The vehicle sat outside for many years before I purchased it, which caused some rust in the rear quarter panels, lower right fender, lower right door, two pinholes in the hood, but upon my inspection to the best of my knowledge the frame looks solid. I did note a rust hole in the passenger side toe-board and there is a two-inch rust hole in the floor of the trunk. Currently, the vehicle is missing the A/C compressor, fan shroud, and the factory air breather. The right rear emergency brake is sticking. The Dash Pad does not have any cracks and the car does have the sport wheels. Note that spare is on the right rear, but the fourth sport wheel is in the trunk. Also, the return spring on the right hand door latch mechanism has broken, which prevents the door from latching. There is a dent on the top of the header panel above the left headlight door and the lock is missing from the trunk. Note: There is a 1969 Mercury Marauder X-100 Parts Vehicle available for separate purchase after the close of the auction to the highest bidder. The vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty or guarantees. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I am more than happy to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. The buyer is responsible for shipping, delivery, and pickup.
