Vehicle Detail

99 TAURUS SHO- up for sale these are very high end cars, leather, power everything including premium stero system with 6-cd changer in trunk. I strongly urge anyone bidding to come take a look and drive the vehicle. I will describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities. These are very fast cars, I belive they top-end arond 140 mph (never tried). Their weakspot was the spline that keeps the cam gear from slipping, they tend to get stripped. This summer I had all four cam gears removed and tig welded by a certified welder. The front head was also replaced with a fresh redone head. the head was bought from a junk yard, two valves repaced, cleaned, checked for cracks, milled for flatness. The serpentine belt, air filter, plugs, and oil were all changed. The front rotors and pads are new, also the power steering line was replaced. The tires are in good condition. The car runs excellent, lots of power still left, no noises or leaks. These cars were around 40,000 new so it has too many options to list, I believe everyting works. The moon roof still works and I went through a car wash not a drop of water leaked. The interior is gray leather, I would say in above average condition with the drivers seat having a little more wear then the other seats, but still ok. The dash board around the instrument panel seems to be seperating, but I think it can be glued pretty easily. As for the outside of the car, there is a little paint bubbling around the trunk key hole and a place about 2.0" long on the drivers side rear wheel well. The front air dam has some scratching and a baseball size dent, you have to get down on your knee's to see it. It was damaged loading the car onto a car dolly. The is a scuff/scratch on the rear bumper that i am pretty sure can be buffed out. I have been driving the car to work a couple of times a week and have noticed that it is shifting into gear hard, this could be serious or as simple as a vacuum line. If I get it fixed the price will go up substantially. I had a 97' for several years and know that the one i have now is a nice car, i sold the 97' with 220,000 miles. I bought the car for my son and was trying to get into very good shape for him, the a relative offered us a very special price on a mustang gt, so we bought that also and the boy decided he wanted to keep the mustang and hence i need to get the SHO out of here. PLEASE feel free to come look at it and take ot for a drive. please have at least ten points on your score or contact me before bidding. I have the reserve set lower then you could by the engine for. I am also selling the car locally and have the right to end the auction at any time. If you check with me FIRST and have my permission in writing I will accept motorcycles as partial or even payment, but please contact me first to get a value for your trade in. A deposit of 500.00 must be paid within 48 hrs and the balance paid in full within 7 days. Car being sold "as is, where is" so you have to take care of any shipping. I will help if I can but not untill all money is paid, and the check cleared. I would finish the last couple of things and try to find a sho collector to buy, but deer season is here so I do not have time to mess with it, this is a great opportunity to own a SHO cheap!
