I have this ex Frito Step Van with the 4BT Cummins Diesel 3.9 Engine. The truck spent most of its life in salt free Texas. It has been in Iowa for 3 years. The Frame is in very good condition. Body is Aluminium. It has a 110 Volt roof air conditioner. Has been used as an RV. We built bunk beds into it. They will come out easily. It weighs around 7000 pounds empty. It has 19.5 inch duals and 16 inch front wheels. Tires are in very good condition. I have had it for 2 years. I have driven it to Florida from Iowa and back and another time to Alabama and back. It is a very faithful truck. We put in a new clutch 2 years ago and a new Alternator. It does leak and burn some oil. The battery has a drain when sitting and will go dead if not driven for a while. Transmission is in very good condition. Top speed is 64 miles per hour. It has an engine block heater and will start in 1 hour if plugged in in the cold of Iowas winters. Has power brakes. Title is Clear. The body, being old, is very thick aluminium. Would scrap for more that the newer trucks. Engine runs very well. Located in Dubuque Iowa. It is available for examination and test drives. Speedometer works but the odometer is broken.
