Vehicle Detail

WE JUST LOWERED THE STARTING BID TO $350.00 WE ARE SERIOUS SELLERS! 1956 NashSuper Statesman***********NO RESERVE***********Up for bids we have an awesome opportunity to own and restore a great american classic car. This is a great project car that comes 98% complete with a clear title in hand! We purchased this car locally with intentions of restoration but other projects keep getting in front of it so we are giving someone else an opportunity with hopes that it will be restored. ***********NO RESERVE*********** The Nash has quit a following of die hard enthusiasts. Information has been very plentiful on locating production figures and parts suppliers. 1956 was the last year for the Statesman, in 1957 all Sedans went to Ambassadors. AMC only produced 7438 Nash Super Statesman in 1956. I would say that makes them fairly rare and doubt seriously that even half of those are still in existence today. ***********NO RESERVE*********** The body of this Nash is as expected. There is rust in the rockers, floor boards, and quarter panels. The deck lid, hood, doors, and fenders are in good shape. The top is fine and very smooth. The chrome has some pitting and will need to be re-chromed but there are a lot of pieces very usable. All glass except the windshield is good. Grill is very nice and probably hard to find. Bumpers will need re-chroming but will be a good core. ***********NO RESERVE*********** The interior is there but will need complete restoration. Seats are in good shape physically but will need restoration. Headliner is coming down, dash is in fair condition, and speedometer looks ok! This car has a factory radio and the dash indicates that it has factory A/C as well! ***********NO RESERVE*********** The short block in line 6 cylinder is in the car. The head is with it and was purchased this way. We have also found what we believe to be the original carborator. The engine will need a complete rebuild but is mostly complete. ***********NO RESERVE*********** The transmission options for the Nash were either the 3 speed manual or ultramatic. Ours is the 3 speed on the column. I will try to decode off data plate and give you more info on that as well. Hopefully you can determine rear end specs as well from this. ***********NO RESERVE*********** All in all this will be a great project car. Nash holds its value very strong in the collector car market and is a great conversation piece. We have tried to describe this car to the best of our ability. We have taken many photos to help you in your bidding decision. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call. Feel free to call me but please only 9am - 9pm central time573-225-5057Kevin For additional pictures of this car and all the parts we have go to http://ferrellagain.com/index.php?pageID=7858_2 AGAIN THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS NASH! We reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
