Vehicle Detail
Relisted due to a scammer clicking buy it now Again! Now no reserve, no buy it now I made a short video including a test drive of this truck here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV20IfgTgxE OK Rare Toyota fans, here is a fully documented all original 1985 Toyota SR-5 Turbo truck. This truck was purchased new in Delaware by the original owner who left it to his son. I bought it with the intentions of parting it out but it's just too nice and original to do that. This truck is fully documented with repair receipts, extra parts, window sticker, etc. Since I've had it, I've cleaned it up, and had a new catalytic converter and new battery installed and it runs perfect. The engine is quiet and has good power and boost from the turbo. The transmission shifts perfect and everything works as it should, even the original radio works great. Cold A/C, hot heat, interior is in great shape for the age and mileage. Dash has a crack and the console and drivers seat have some tears. Has all original equipment to the truck, alloy wheels, all correct turbo parts, etc. This was a non-smoker truck and much of the interior is almost mint (steering wheel, headliner, etc) The truck has some rust issues in the bed and on the frame just in front of the rear wheels (repairable on both sides) which is a shame since the truck had a mat and a topper it's entire life. If it weren't for the rust the bed would be mint. Anyone good fabrication skills could fix this bed. The cab and doors are solid and the front drivers fender has some rust on the lip. This truck drives great and with the exception of an exhaust leak (where the new cat is, needs welded) it has no mechanical issues at all. No leaks, good oil pressure, fluids are clean, etc. There were very few of these Turbo trucks produced in 1985 from my research. These are almost as rare as Turbo diesel trucks. There are no signs of any accident damage or paintwork. This truck would make a perfect restoration candidate. The exhaust heat shields, drivers side mudflaps and a milk crate full of new and extra parts are included with the truck. Please see all of my photos and watch the video.
