1971 Suzuki T500

1971 Suzuki T500 with 1976 suzuki GT500 engine.This is a great year of engine to both have and work on. This year had both electronic ignition and higher compression pistons. This year also has an improved gearbox over earlier years. This bike runs well but like any classic, needs a bit of work to make it the great bike it deserves to be. The crankshaft is rebuilt and in good shape, and the rest of the engine is pretty nice as well. This bike is a strong runner and will still out accellerate many brand new bikes on the market. could use a seat cover, a shiny paint job if that's your thing, and a little work here and there. most rubber and plastic was replaced due to heat damage, but it's only cosmetic and otherwise, is a great runner. This is a classic bike that you will be able to enjoy now and will be a solid investment in the future.
