Here for your consideration is a highly optioned 1971 Mach 1 Mustang. This is a running and driving car that needs restoration. I have included a photo of the Marti report showing the many options on the car. They are as follows:4-SP TRANS, F60X15 WIDE OVAL TIRES, CONVENIENCE GROUP, POWER STEERING, RIM-BLOW DELUXE STEERING WHEEL,SPORT DECK REAR SEAT, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, REAR DECK SPOILER, AIR CONDITIONER, REAR WINDOW DEFROST, AM/FM STEREO RADIO, CONSOLE, INTERMITTENT WINDSHIELD WIPERS, DELUXE BELTS/ WARNING LIGHT, TINTED GLASS, POWER WINDOWS, MAGNUM 500 WHEELS, TACHOMETER.The magnum 500 wheels on the car now are 14" and the console is missing. The tach is working, but the windows are not. I have not checked the fuses for any problems. It is rare to see a Mach 1 with 4-sp and A/C, but all the additional options on this car make it a very desireable candidate for restoration. It will need the typical Mustang rust repair such as floor pans, lower quarters, door corners. The structure of the car is very good. The frame rails, torque boxes, trunk floor and cross members are all in great shape. I have installed a new gas tank and sending unit, as well as a new master cylinder. The car cranks very well when cold, but is difficult to start hot. It will probably need a new starter. The hood and trunk lid will need to be replaced. This car will NOT need a rebuild on the engine. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a rare Mach 1 at a very reasonable price. Buyer is responsible for moving the car to it's new home.
