My Loss, Your Gain. I bought this vehicle in Europe about 5 years ago and privately imported it to the US. I never registered it here. It has been Indoor stored most of it's life and is now taking up space in my storage unit in holly Springs NC 27540. My total investment in this car is over $6000. It's being sold with no reserve, no catches. The Van began life as a camper, most likely wiensberg not westfalia. It was gutted long before I bought it intending to use it as a van for delivery. When I got it here to the states it had a pop top similar to the T1 VW Bus, This top was lost on the drive from the port to my house (actually within the first 15 minutes as it was not locked down), Still the truck ran and drove well and I had planned on welding in a panel to make it more of a work or delivery van, It was regularly started and driven on the storage lot for the first 2-3 years of storage. About 2 years ago I misplaced the keys so the car has not been started or driven for at least 2 years. Last summer I has a locksmith take out the ignition switch to make a key for it and he promptly lost it. So you can tell I have not had much luck. The Van is missing the pop top and the ignition switch, other then that is is complete, The front interior is in great shape, the rear has been gutted. The van is Front Wheel Drive 1438 Fiat Pushrod Engine and parts are available for the engine. Pickup is encouraged by November 12 The truck does have some rust as indicated in the photos, by no means a rust bucket it has rust along the rain lip as well as by most window openings, One tire has a slow leak and the Van will need to be towed. I can offer transport after the 12th of November as long as it is prepaid, I charge .60 per one way mile on a single car trailer.
