I am selling this super rare 1.8t Jetta Wagon to finance my wife's Cabrio build. I love VW's and have worked as a VW/Audi dealer technician for the past ten years. The MK4 Jetta is the best yet, and this rare car is in great shape. I'd love to keep this car, but times are rough and it's got to go. THE GOOD 1. Try to find one other than this one. This is the only one I have ever seen, yet all parts are available. Very versatile! 2. Engine resealed, cam and crank bearings checked for scoring with no damage. All seals replaced with dealer seals. Synthetic oil. 3. No check engine lamp on, proof of readiness upon request printed out from VAG 5051B4. Good tires, mismatched. Suspension tight, proof of alignment specs available, but I lost the sheet, so I can put it back on the machine if you want. 5. Coolant and brake fluid flushed, with all factory fluids. 6. Power windows, locks, sunroof, all in great working order.7. Driveline good, all CV axles in order, exhaust checks out, no evidence of collision.8. All stock with no modifications. Belonged to an older lady. (sorry for the cliche, but it's true)9. Transmission shifts good, seems to have bunches of clutch left. Lines to slave have been flushed with brakes. 10. Clear Title, waiting for your signature!11. 15" alloy wheels, 4 wheel discs, ASR system12. EVERYTHING WORKS, cruise, accessories, wipers, etc.... unless listed below13. VW PARTS USED ONLY!!! I get them too cheap not to. Employee discounts, baby!14. A/C and Heat works well. THE BAD Note - In an effort to keep this vehicle cheap, I have not fixed these things, but I can. The auction is for the unfixed condition. All of these issues should not effect the safe operation of the vehicle. Just trying to save you guys some money! 1. Fabric in door panels starting to sag, needs to be reglued. Small hole in rear bench. 2. Dent in Left rear of roof, looks like a garage door caused it. It did break the rack. I got an estimate of $450 to fix it, plus whatever a used rack cost. See pictures. Several scratches on fenders and doors which I have sealed. I'd rather you pick who you want to fix it. 3. Radio has no reception, but tape and CD player works. I think its a problem with the radio, which can be solved with an aftermarket one of your choice. 4. Headlamps foggy, can be restored, lets talk!5. Cloth interior... unless you don't like leather, then thats a plus. 6. One of the two fans doesn't work. You buy the fan, I can slap it on for free. This may be one item I would go aftermarket or used on. May be able to source one. 7. Brake rotors on front warped. I should have that fixed before the close of the auction. VW parts of course. 8. Valet key only. My price is about $130 for a flip key, I will program it for free if you want to add it to the auction cost. 9. This car is fully drivable to wherever you want to go. Oil change has about 100 miles on it. I can work with your shipper, but the vehicle does not have tag or insurance.
