Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! 1964 Triumph "T-120R" 650cc "Bonneville" survivor. Original custom, full on show bike built in the Detroit, MI area in 1966 - 67, named "THE ASSASIN" (yes, spelled incorrectly...). Saved from a leaky, dilapidated garage about 8 years ago. 20 miles on a fresh, complete mechanical rebuild. My idea was to retain the artistic aspect of the bike but make it fully functional. Starts first kick and no leaks! All work done by me including the engine. Split cases, sludge trap cleaned, fresh .040 overbore, valve job, etc. Bike is fully fuctional but I consider it a conversation piece and only use it at shows. It resides in my living room next to my coffee table the rest of the time. This bike is loaded with rare parts, which are original to this REAL custom. Huge finned exhaust clamps, Borrani high shouldered aluminum rims, etc. "Wassell" accessories include the gas tank, ribbed rear fender, Amal "monoblock" float bowl extensions, etc. "MCM" accessories include the fork covers, drag pipes, drag bars, etc. Bike has tons of chrome including the engine cases. Most of the frame modifications including the rear "shark fins' were done in brass. Paint is very unique with it's heavy metalflake and candy colors in a trippy "lava lamp" scheme. Lots of time and money went into the bike when it was new. Matching numbers bike, comes with a clear title. As seen front row at "Born Free", Kruzin' the "Mooneyes" summer show pits, the El Camino vintage M/C show, and in issue #101 of "The Horse" magazine in the "Born Free" coverage. Also soon to be featured in "DICE" magazine! This bike gets more looks than a drunken cougar wearing a halter top at a cowboy bar! If your looking for the real deal with loads of patina, this is the machine! Own a piece of custom motorcycle history. Oh yeah, chicks dig it!
