Vehicle Detail
I purchased this GT750 from the original owner 17 years ago and it has remained a favorite in my Suzuki collection since that time. It has a clean Minnesota title in my name. It has been driven sparingly over the years, mostly on VJMC rides with other vintage bikes. This machine has never let me down and runs quietly and smoothly. The exhausts have a few wear marks, but are very presentable, solid and quiet with all baffles and black cone tips in place. The gas tank has no dents, but the original paint does show marks from its years of use. One fork ear has a small crack by the hole where the flasher enters the headlight and there is a little paint damage from acid on the right body cover. I have tried my best to show these flaws in the pictures. It sports new tires and tubes, new fork seals, new sprockets, new O-ring chain, and all new coolant and lubricants. The seat is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. A complete engine tune up and ultrasonic carb cleaning has been done as well. She leaks nothing and starts instantly at the touch of the button or a prod on the kickstarter lever. It is in excellent original original condition with a proper grab bar, nice correct embossed points and alternator covers, Suzuki "S" mirrors, correct 14 rib fork gaitors, and other little odds and ends that seem to go missing on these old GTs as years pass. The fuel tank has been professionally cleaned and coated and all the alloy covers and brake backing plates were professionally polished. All the blinkers, lights, charging system and other electrics work as the day it left the factory. Even with the normal paint wear it is still a beautiful original GT750. I would be hesitant to repaint it myself. Things are only original once. When taken on club rides it garners much more attention than the early CB750 Hondas that are along. I am not a professional Ebay seller and am selling some machines from my personal collection to help offset my business losses over the past two years. I hate to let this one go, but I need the money. I will require a $500 deposit within 3 days of the end of the auction and the balance within 10 days. If you cannot meet these terms please do not bid. I can keep the machine in my warehouse for up to 30 days after the auction ends at no additional charge, but it will not leave before my bank tells me the money is there. Shipping is solely the responsibility of the buyer but I can help load the bike onto a truck if need be. If you have a feedback experience of less than 5 you must contact me before bidding. Otherwise your bid will be removed. Look closely at the photographs. I have placed what I feel is a very reasonable reserve on this collectible first year GT750. It will only go up in value as the years pass. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck. Once again Ebay has reduced my high resolution pictures into teensy little useless images.
