Up for Auction is this fantastic 1988 Honda Hurricane 1000. This is THE first of all the Superbikes. It defined all to come after it. I can actually say that this bike needs nothing and is ready to be ridden anywhere you choose. With 31k miles on the clock, it was obviously extremely well maintained its entire life. I'm selling it for a friend who said he simply didn't have the time to ride it anymore.The engine and transmission are flawless and run perfectly. The transmission shifts with the tiniest of nudges with zero drama or noises. The tires are great, the inspection and registration is current and I have a clear and clean Texas title ready to go. It also comes with the factory Honda service manual, the original owner's manual and a folder full of maintenance receipts to prove it has been well cared for.Very little wear is seen anywhere on the bike. It is original and unchanged from the factory and runs as Honda intended it to run. There is one small 2 inch section on the right fairing that is cracked from bumping into something in the garage when it wasn't even running and the photos show the damage well. The missing piece is included and could likely be repaired easily. It in no way affects the performance of this spectacular machine. This bike has never been dropped and other than this small crack, there are no areas of concern. I recently rode it to the west hills about a 100 miles and it never showed a single hiccup. It's truly like a time machine, as it really feels like you're riding a new bike in 1988!This bike is sure to please and not disappoint.
