Hello, You are looking at a fantastic, Red, 1981 Honda C70 Passport. I have just finished a month's restoration and this bike now looks and runs amazing!! The story of this bike goes back a few months. I first purchased the frame in the bike you see as a whole bike to use to spare parts for my '82 C70. I didn't need too much so I got a good deal, but had a really nice frame sticking around, really pretty much everything but the leg shield and the engine. The bike was owned by a BYU professor who did not drive it much and was garaged, hence the great condition of the bike. So about a month ago I saw an 81 in the local paper that was all beat up and needed some help. The body was messed up, electrical was jimmy rigged, but they reported it ran well. When I took at look at it, I discovered they were right. The owners before them knew these bikes well and had modified the carburetor and re-built the engine. It ran better than any of the other C70's I had seen. So I pulled the engine off that bike and rebuilt a new C70 from the ground up. I had taken apart the frame, handlebar, and all the parts from the shiny bike as I was going to part it out, so now I put everything back together. As I did I made sure everything was cleaned, lubed, and tuned to get the best bike possible. this bike starts up great everytime! accelerates great, and goes fast. Get's to 40 in no time. In fact in many ways this drives better and faster than my '82 with an electronic ignition. Electric starter works perfectly every time!!
