1981 VW Rabbit Diesel. Starts, runs and drives well. Good tires. New paint job within last 2 months. All lights, instruments and switches work, except the odometer (it stopped working some time ago), but the speedo still works fine. The car has no rust nor does it show any signs of ever been in a collision. It was painted because the paint was old and faded. It doesn't smoke nor leak fluids. Doesn't use any oil between oil changes. It has never overheated and is very dependable.. It gets between 40 and 50 miles per gallon, depending upon how driven and the road conditions. Cruises easily at 70 miles per hour. Recent work included timing belt, rebuilt injectors, new glow plugs and Injector pump timing set. The left rear door latch is broken ( I guess as the door won't open). It's a respectable looking little car for an almost 30 year old. The vehicle is for same locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold . I will try to answer any questions you might have.
