Up for auction is a 1948 Willeys Jeep with factory flat head 4 cylinder. This jeep has undergone a complete restoration. The following is a listing of what was restored: Frame - Completely Painted Brakes - All new brake lines were installed as well as new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brakes shoes. Motor - The motor was completely overhauled. Has new cam, pistons, rings. Also has a new starter, water pump, alternator. New radiator was installed. While the engine was out we also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing as well. Body - This jeep has a good body to start with. Was worked slightly to for minor dents, etc and was then painted. The floorboard in this jeep should be considered good by todays standards. The inside of this body was all painted black with the outside being red. This jeep also has new windshield, tires, gas tank, white faced instrument gauges, new chrome headlight rings, exhaust and newly re-done seats both front and back. Jeep was converted to 12 volt. Im sure there is other stuff here that I am missing. All and all this jeep is in great shape. It starts easy and runs great. Would make a great vehicle to ride in the mountains or around the farm, or to town on the weekends. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and Ill get back to you ASAP.
