Vehicle Detail

2010-11 Custom Chopper or 1976-77 Triumph Bonneville (un-registered) It is finally up for sale. After a couple of years tinkering with this project, I'm making room in my garage. :( Here I have a custom SPCN that will be considered a 2010 or 2011 chopper, whenever it gets titled. I have a 1976-77 Triumph 750 engine, with a clean out of record DMV status, and a custom (I think) frame with no visible serial numbers. I have looked in the normal locations for serial numbers, but still no luck. So a few of my buddies told me that it might have to be blue tagged or registered as a 1976-77 Triumph. (I heard the process is a little complicated and honestly I don't feel like dealing with it) So I am letting this go at a NO RESERVE price. I will give a bill of sale with this bike. I have driven this bike about five or six times since I have had it, and it runs good. But I recently put new Mikuni carbs and a new Sparx ignition (at the same time), and since have not been able to start it. I know it is the timing or carbs, or combination of both, but I do not have the mechanical capabilities (as I had thought). If I spend the money to put this into the shop to get it timed and tuned, I will have a reserve of at the least $10k. This bike was built in 2007, and since I have had it I have put about $2500 in upgrades (new 30 or 32mm carbs, new ignition, new clutch plates, wiring, battery, mirrors, lights, plugs & wires, fuel lines, petcock, chroming, etc.). I know there is at least $10k put into this bike. When I got this bike it was already built and had the powdercoated frame, custom paint w/ flames and ghost skulls, 180 rear tire, etc. I will give you all of the original pieces that I took off the bike (ignition, Amal carbs, clutch plates, etc.). About $1000 in extra parts. As I have mentioned though... It will need a little work, like timing and carbs set, blinkers mounted, registration, paint (it has a dent, dings, and chipping), and I'm sure other minor adjustments. This is a real good looking head turner, and will make someone very happy. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, and I would highly recommend fully inspecting before bidding. (what might seem like little work to me, may be serious work to someone else. Or vise versa.) I am sure I am leaving a lot of details and specs out, So please feel free to contact me and ask as many questions possible.Thank you Due to vehicles in general: This is a Buy AS-IS, WHERE-IS auction.
