This 1993 240 DL is a rare beauty. A un-reserved as is auction. 1993 the last model year for this classic. Lots of extra’s so hear it goes.. I grew up with Volvo and its in my blood. This is my baby that I don’t want to part with but this 240 has been just sitting parked for almost a year and she deserves to be driven ! THE FACTS: - THIS CAR IS ALL ORIGINAL ! engine/tranny/clutch - 5 SPEED MANULE TRANSMISSION - POWER WINDOWS, MIRRORS, LOCKS everything all working. - A/C – not sure it worxs currently – I doubt it, but it did a year ago before it was parked. – has been converted over to current Freon system. - I SWITCHED OUT THE TIRES AND WHEELS TO NEW 15 INCH ALLOYS AS SEEN IN PICTURE. - INSTALLED A $1500 STEREO 14 MONTHS AGO – HIGH END PIONEER DECK/cd/mp3 (W/ remote, ipod connection) INFINITY SPEAKERS IN FRONT DOORS AND BACK LEDGE. ORIGINAL SPEAKERS ARE ALSO INCLUDED. IVE NEVER BOTHERED TO REPLACE OR FIX IT AS THE SPEEDO AND ALL OTHER GAUGES WORK AND ITS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN SMALL DISTANCES. SO TRUE KM’S ARE UNKNOWN, BUT FEAR NOT I HAVE SERVICE RECORDS SHOWING APPROX MILEAGE WITHIN A COUPLE THOUSAND. I GAURENTEE TRUE KM'S ARE BETWEEN 230-240,000. YOU CAN SEE BY THE PICS IN 2 SMALL SPOTS THE CLEARCOAT IS PEELING OFF DUE TO A STONE CHIP AT 1 SPOT, AND A SMALL SCRATCH IN THE OTHER. - THERE ARE 2 MINOR RUST SPOTS BEGINNING – THE ROCKER PANEL ON DRIVERS SIDE – FAMOUS SPOT FOR VOLVO RUST. AS WELL BEHIND PASSENGER MUD FLAP – SEE PICTURES. - TAIL LIGHTS OVER TIME FADE AND CRACK – THEY ARE ALL WORKING JUST COSMETICALLY A FEW CRACKS. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ALL 240 AUCTIONS FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND I CAN BET MY LIFE THIS IS THE NICEST 240 THAT HAS BEEN AUCTIONED ON EBAY.
