Up for auction is a 1966 Ford Country Sedan also referred to as a Galaxie Station Wagon. This car is a daily driver and it runs great. I have had this car for a little over a year and i have done a lot to it. The car has been painted, the engine and drive line have been gone through, the doors have been shaved and poppers have been installed on the front doors, a cd player, amp, speakers and tube subs have been installed and some of the interior has been redone as well. This car is an awesome cruiser and daily driver. Engine, Transmission & Rear Axle: The engine is a 390 F.E. Ford Big Block. The engine was gone through about a year ago and it runs great. It has a 4 barrel carburetor and a Edlebrock aluminum intake manifold. The transmission is a C4 and it was rebuilt right before i bought the car. It shifts smoothly and has no issues. This car also has a ford 9 inch rear end. A transmission cooler and a new 1 wire alternator have also been installed. Exterior: The car was completely taken apart, sanded, door handles shaved, body work done, primed and then painted about a year ago. I have pictures of this process as well as receipts for the paint and other materials used in this process. The car had a tiny spot of rust in the spare tire well but that was cut out and patched. The car has been painted Hot Rod Black and Kryptonite Metallic. It really looks beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. Interior: The interior is in really good shape. Most of the interior trim has been painted to match the outside of the car, the door panels have been gone over and they match the outside as well. The back seat has no rips and the front has a few but has been covered with a blanket. The carpet is brand new and looks great. The car needs a headliner and it could use a dash pad as well, but other than that its in great shape. Suspension & Brakes: The car needs some shocks the rest of the suspension seems to be fine. The brakes were replace right before i purchased the car and they work great. This is a really cool and rare old wagon that is a great daily driver and major head turner!
