Up for auction is my 1973 Datsun 240Z. This is a smooth running reliable classic. This car has been my daily driver with zero problems. This is not your ordinary Z-car. This beauty has a very tastefully done RB25DET swap. One of the best I've seen. The part you will enjoy: - Fun at the track and dependable enough to be your daily driver. - The interior is in good condition and the seats are comfortable for long trips. - The paint and color scheme turns heads everywhere you go. - New urethane bushings and new strut cartridges make this a nice handling car. - Skyline 5-Speed transmission shifts smooth behind the powerful Skyline engine (RB25DET). - R200 differential installed for reliability. - No leaks. Doesn’t burn oil. - Even compression across all 6 cylinders. Things to consider: - Has no AC. You can have AC installed though. I will include the AC compressor and bracket that came with the engine. - Only has defrost and floor vents. The dash vent was removed to make room for boost gauge. There is no shortage of heat in the winter though. - Less than the normal amount of Z-rust. There is a small spot just starting to rust in the hatch opening (usual spot for a 240Z). See picture. No rust on firewall, battery tray area, rocker panels, or fender wells. This Z comes with a very nice custom sound system, synthetic fluids from front to rear, and a lot of new genuine Nissan parts installed. The reliablity, good looks and the joy it will bring you makes it worth the price. Re-live the thrill of a 240Z without the headaches.
