Vehicle Detail

I purchased this Typhoon in 2009 from a middle aged man who had bough it from the original owner, his brother-in-law, some years before. I have always wanted one of these and so it became a dream come true for me last summer. Since purchasing this vehicle I have washed and waxed it, applied a protectent to all of the moldings, dash, etc. and I sprayed the under body with rust inhibitor. I took it to a reputable shop and had them perform a full transmission flush, fuel filter replacement and they cleaned the fuel injectors. I changed the oil myself with AMS full synthetic. The coolant fluid has been checked and is not in need of replacement. She is a beauty. This truck has been well maintained all of its life and it shows. It was always garaged and never driven in the snow. I haven't noticed any rust. It seems to be all stock, no performance upgrades that I know of. The door locks and windows are crisp and surprisingly unworn. The leather seats are embroidered from the factory "Typhoon" and the back seats look as if no one has ever sat in them. The cd sound system is original and everything works like it is new. Even the windows are untouched, never tinted. The tires look nearly new and the wheels are free of chips. Since I have owned it, I have put on 200 miles or so. I even have the owner's manuals and Chilton maintenance/ repair books. My job keeps me busy during the nice days of the spring and fall and I have been unable to enjoy it as I hoped I would. When the weather is nice, I am always working. I refuse to drive this in snow or rain so I find myself wanting to pass this on to someone who will enjoy it. I would like to sell this to an adult as these vehicles are becoming very rare, especially in this condition, and I would prefer to see it sold to someone who would not abuse it or even treat it like a daily driver. This classic beauty belongs in a garage; nostalgically driven on for relaxation. Here is the link to wikipedia's page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_Typhoon "Sports cars are for speed, suvs are for hauling people, right? What if you could combine the two and build an suv as fast as a Vette? No, it's not impossible and GM proved it with 283bhp and 350 lb/ft of turbocharged V6." "When Porsche builds something with an intercooled turbocharger and four-wheel drive, it can cost as much as a house. When GMC did it with the Syclone, you could afford one and have just as much fun while taking yourself, 3 passengers and their gear for a wild ride across the country."
