Vehicle Detail
1969 ford mustang fastback project car. Factory 351 4 barrel manual trans (4-spd?) power disc brake car. Clear title. Dash VIN is not there but VIN's are clearly stamped on both factory front aprons. Previous owner removed dash vin during resto and cannot locate now. Again the VIN's are still on the aprons and match title. Car has new rear quarter on pass side and I'd probably replace drivers too because it has some filler above wheel lip. Bottom of drivers quarter is nice and solid. Roof is pretty decent. Doors were re-skinned I'm told. interior is missing headliner. Has rear package shelf tray. Seats are missing. Brand new one piece floor ($400) is in the car and ready for welding in. Rear frame rails have some rot but are intact, not through the floor or anything like that. They need work near the rear shackles. Trunklid has had some welding done on it. Front fenders seem pretty solid. Car has all new engine compartment aprons that need some refitting/welding on them. Front frames are solid. Torque box on pass side is very nice, drivers okay. Front frame floor extensions have some rot where they connect to main front rails but could be saved pretty easy. I suspect the car may be a GT though I have zero documentation of that. Original color is black jade. No motor/trans and rear end pumpkin is out too. The car was used for drag racing on the hobbyist level. Rear axle has two supports that tie into back frame kickups. They did that for extra strength I'm told. Front shock towers were strengthened also and the work is not easily noticed.Actually made the towers much stronger in my opinion. Wiring harness is out of car although I have some of it. I have a bunch of parts that go with the car to help complete it. Will list those parts later. Hood is actually pretty decent with no rust. Has a minor scratch/dent.
