Vehicle Detail
This Blazer is in good condition. A lot of work was done to restore this truck about 10 years ago when the engine was done. The truck was painted white/teal. All of the body metal on the inside of the truck is teal. The engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. It has a racing cam. I have the labels for the cam but no paperwork for the rebuilt engine or any of the other work that had been done on this truck. The guy who sold it to me never followed through with providing me all of the paper work. The chrome bumpers must be new. They do not have any marks or spots on them. The truck had body work done to it but I am not sure what was replaced and what was repaired. The front inner fenders appear to be new. Aftermarket front grill. I replaced the distributor with an ACCEL about a month ago. The tires are 31/10.50-15 BFG Land Terrain about 90% tread. American Racing wheels. The wheels do have small amounts of rust but I think they could be buffed out. Im not sure. Front and rear brakes both pass inspection. Brake system is in good condition. Good hoses and lines. Quadrajet carb. The interior is in good condition. The seats have all been re-upholstered(spelling?) and the carpets have been replaced. The interior of the doors and the center console appear to have been painted gray. The rear bench seat is not bolted to the floor and does not have seatbelts. Seatbelts in the front are three point and work fine. This truck is in good condition but far from perfect. 4x4 works fine. The transmission appears to be stuck in second gear since I bought the truck a year ago. Could be an easy fix, i have no idea. It never bothered me. The tranny has a sluggish start but gets up to interstate highway speed very quickly. Handles very well on the highway. Both tailpipes, past mufflers have holes in them. Mufflers are good and all joints are good on exhaust from manifolds to mufflers. This truck has rust. The major rust is between back of cab and cap and underneath the truck. There are bad spots under both front seats and right rear corner. Both front seats have very solid mounts. This truck draws attention when you drive it. I hate to sell it. If I was 15 years younger, I wouldn't even think about selling this truck but unfortunately with my hectic life, the truck ends up sitting a lot more than it gets driven and... I need the money. My name is Bill. Call me with any questions. 717-821-4673. I am located in Lebanon, Pa, about 30 miles east of Harrisburg, Pa Good luck bidding.
