1980 El Camino for sale. I will try to include as much information as possible. I bought the car from a guy who inherited it from his father. 305 engine (out of a 93 truck) and 700r4 trans have both been rebuilt approx. 5400 miles have been put on it (It is my daily driver so mileage will change). tires and wheels are newer with about 1000+/- miles on them. New alternator, fuel pump, new b and m shifter and shift kit, new edlebrock carb, edlebrock valve covers, headers exhaust, new battery, some new brake lines. Brakes are a bit soft and need to be bled. New after market gauges including - speedo, tach, oil pressure, voltmeter, temp. Gauges are prosport and autometer brand. I also have an electric fan for the radiator. Interior needs some work, looks to be newer carpet but wasnt installed properly or completely? Bucket seats are out of a firebird (no rips). Center console was built and covered looks good. Floor pans need to be repaired, Bed is not rusted through. Has fiberglass front and rear bumpers (these are not bumper covers they are what i believe are called roll pan bumpers) and fiberglass cowl hood. All glass is good as well, both windows roll up and down easily , both door locks work too. Tail gate needs work but i do have a replacement in good condition if bought for the asking $800. Tail gate that is on it needs bondo sanded off and there is a shallow dent i will try to remove. The previous own bondoed a piece of sheet metal of the spot where the license plate would go since there is also a spot for the license plate on the bumper. Head lights, tail lights and blinkers work. The body is in decent condition. I started priming the body until someone backed into me. So the body currently looks like this: front grill head light bezel is fine (not in primer), front quarters are primed and in good condition, Driver door is in good shape with some rust on lower front corner- in primer, passenger door has a rust hole in the lower front and needs to be patched in good shape other wise and in primer, hood was primed but has chipped in spots due to air pockets, roof and driver side quarter is in primer, Driver side quarter was backed into and will need to be replaced or bondo. Locally i have found a replacement quarter for $175 but I myself have a parts car with quarters for sale in my auctions for less than $175. passenger side quarter will need patching on the lower side both sides of the wheel well. patches can be bought on ebay for cheaper than a full quarter. tailgate has a dent- looks poppable, needs to be sanded and painted Frame has rust on it but no rot or holes that I have seen from looking at it underneath. This car is my daily driver and always starts. The longest ive driven it in one trip has been about 150 miles and e has seen about 6 or so trips of 80-100 miles.
