2001 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA 4X4 2.5L V6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 87,921 MILES ********** MECHANIC'S SPECIAL ********** THIS VEHICLE WILL BE SELLING WITH NO RESERVE You are looking at a 2001 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA 4 DOOR FOUR WHEEL DRIVE with a 2.5L V6 ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. We purchased this SUV as a bank repossession and it is in need of repair. The engine starts and runs but it does have a noticeable upper engine rattle. It starts fine, runs smooth, and does not smoke but it does have an engine noise. We have been told it could be a timing chain but we have not had it professionally diagnosed. The body is in overall good condition with the exception of a few scratches and dents. The interior is in good condition but needs to be cleaned. How you see this vehicle in the pictures is exactly how we purchased it. We have not even washed it off yet. We have driven this vehicle at highway speeds and it seemed to run fine. However do to the unknown engine noise we would not recommend driving it a long distance to avoid possible damage. There cosmetic flaws are.... scratches on the front bumper, about a 4 inch dent on the left fender ( easily pushed out ), and the right fender and door have rubbed causing damage where they meet. As you can see this Grand Vitara is not perfect but with a liitle work it could look nice. INTERIOR: Good Condtion. The drivers carpet shows some wear but overall the interior is in good condition. DRIVETRAIN: Starts and runs but has an engine rattle. Transmission shift smooth and the 4x4 works fine. Tires are 20-30%+. We are selling this vehicle to be in need of repair. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be relisted, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up.
