Lowered floored handicap vans are better than High Top vans because with high top vans you have to worry about over head clearence as in parking garages or your garage and the person sitting in the wheelchair will set up higher and makes it harder to see out. With a lowered floor there is no over head clearance problems you can park anywhere. With the lowered floor the handicap person has better visibility seeing out the windows. This conversion van is an Explorer Coversion which is the top of the line in the market. This 1999 GMC Handicap Van is in excellent shape with only 88k miles. It runs and drives great down the road and starts up every time. The van does not leak anything and it does not smoke. The van drives straight down the road without any shimmys or shakes. The brakes were recently changed and the van stops straight with out any shimmys. I just put on 4 BRAND NEW HEAVY DUTY 6PLY TIRES last week, they only have 13 miles on them. The exterior is in great shape with only a few minor scratches as to be expected. The paint is in great shape and still has a nice shine to it. There is NO rust or body damage on this van. The running boards are in great shape and are not broken or cracked but they do have a few scratches as to be expected. There is a small dent in the front and rear bumpers as seen in the pictures. The interior is in excellent shape. The seats have no ripps, tears or stains nor do they show any wear on them. The driver seat is a 6-way power seat and the rear seat folds down to a bed. The van is fully equipt with power windows, power locks, air, tilt, cruise and everything works as it should. There are 4 tie down points in the floor with tie down straps for the wheelchair. The front and rear AC blows out cold and the heat blows out hot as well. There is two remote entry key fobs, owners manual to the van and an owner/service manual to the lift. The Bruan handicap lift works and functions as it should with no problems. When the lift is stowed it also folds out of the way with the hand controller for easy access to the van as seen in the pictures. All the over head lights and mood lights works. This van was previosly owned by a Senior Citizen Assistant Living Center and it was only used to transported their handicap residents. This van has had all its regular scheduled mainantence. The oil was changed 500 miles ago and the radiator fluid has been tested and is good for up to -20. This van was traded in on a NEW Handicap Van.
