relisted with new super low reserve i transferred the plates to my new truck so this one has to be sold.this is a 1978 ford f350 tiltback,rollback car hauler i purchased it feb 6,2009 to haul vehicles locally to our repair shop.it has a chevron steel bed on it that measures 16 feet from front to rear and 8 feet from side to side.i have had a full size f250 4x4 on it as well as a full size suburban and a f350 dump truck with no problems.the following repairs,updates and improvements have been made since that date.the complete truck has been sanded down and painted with custom base coat clear coat 3 tone paint and custom graphics,new complete dual exhaust (flowmaster mufflers i believe).new rear drums and brakes.new emergency brake cables.new hydraulic hoses.new hydraulic controls.new lights.new ignition switch.new power steering lines.new ignition box.new gauges,new winch cable,tune up including plugs,wires,cap,rotor.new starter and starter solenoid.custom headliner in cab.the following items have been replaced in the past month with less than 500 miles on them:the engine was removed from a 78 ford truck that was only used to plow snow for most of its life it only has 72,000 miles on it.with the engine removed we replaced the clutch assy.installed a new water pump,new hoses,new belts,new thermostat,new valve cover gaskets,new freeze plugs,also installed in the last month is a totally rebuilt carburetor.the truck runs well and the bed and 10,000 pound winch work fine.also replaced all of the drivers side rear lug nuts and studs.the only problems i know with the truck are as follows:speedometer does not work,gas gauge does not work.main seal leaks.has one small spot on drivers seat that the vinyl is separated.windshield wipers work but kind of smeary.has some dings and dents on body.needs radio.tail lights are broken but i have 4 brand new ones that come with truck as shown in pictures.has good ohio title in my name that reads 18,183 miles but it is marked non actual due to speedo not working.i am sure that there are a lot more brand new parts that have been replaced but i just cant think of them now.so e-mail me with any questions at all,or if you want some pictures of any specific part,or if you want to view it or drive it.although there is many new parts on this truck it is 32 years old so it is sold absolutely as-is.the only reason for selling it is just bought a newer one.heres a video just click on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gbbGRbqPKg i also reserve the right to cancel at any time due to having for sale locally.i have way over 6500.00 invested in this truck and reserve is less than half of that.i cant afford to put plates and insurance on both trucks so this one must go. On Oct-09-10 at 14:29:45 PDT, seller added the following information: the last picture is how a full size car fits.car not included in auction. i am adding a buy it now if the buy it now is used i will also throw in a built 429 engine with the following done to it :the engine is completely rebuilt the crank was turned 20 thousands with clevite bearings brass freeze plugs molly rings on forged pistons 10.5 to 1 pistons high volume fuel pump and oil pump.the heads cost 1800 to get done themselves they had 10 thousands shaved off all new valves guides springs and seats has the springs matched to the cam which is also new along with a double roller timing chain etc. the whole set up was balanced and everything was checked when it was apart and boiled at the machine shop.there is many more new parts in it including the aluminum intake the distributer etc almost everything was replaced im sure i am forgetting a bunch but it is a great engine putting out beetween 400-500 hp that you can run on pump gas.has about 4000 easy break in miles on it.
