This is an ORIGINAL 1959 GMC wide side Pickup Truck. This truck was bought in 1960 by my great grandfather as a dealer demo in Denver for cash, he was the first owner my father was the second. This truck was my great grandfathers daily driver and has never been rebuilt. This truck has 26,338 ORIGINAL miles. My great grandfather was 71 years old when he bought this truck and he drove it from 1960 until 1976 and he could no longer drive after that. It was moved 2 times after 1976 into 2 separate storage facilities by my father who bought the truck. The last time the truck was moved was 1985 or 1986 no one can remember exactly. This truck has the following cosmetic issues: both rear chrome pieces around the tail lights are beat up, there is a scratch on the right front fender. the steering column is separated (it all works fine), the seat has a hole under the steering wheel and a torn up seam on the drivers side, the tailgate is fr a Chevrolet I do not know why it is not a GMC, there is no rear bumper and my father never remembers it having one. The truck bed measures 8' 6", the rear window wraps around the cab on both sides, see pics. The motor is a 336 GMC V8. Photo 22 is the inside of the reivers wheel well looking toward the cab there are no rust holes I can find anywhere in this truck. That is it. It ran fine in 1985, it has been in storage ever since.
