Save gas with this 43 mile-per-gallon green Prius hybrid. Because of the precision electronic steering and the continuous variable transmission, my baby is exceptionally smooth in handling, out-performing many luxury cars. Imagine yourself in an electric vehicle that accellerates from standing still to full speed without ever switching a gear, while mechanical cars would have switched gears 4 times. The package includes a backup camera, the most useful feature in a metropolitan environment. Interior has LED lights - much nicer, high tech, blue hint. Heated mirrors can be very helpful in a not so perfect weather. Forget about traditional mechanical keys. This babe only takes the Smart Keys' wireless digital signals, and there is no ignition (you'll miss the old ways of starting an engine, grrr, ghrrrr, ghhhrrrrr.) You don't even have to take the Smart Key out of your pocket or purse. (Two Smart Keys are included.) In the winter time, we are not that lucky. You'll get 29 MPG to 37 MPG. When the spring comes, you'll get high 40's to high 50 MPG. I got my highest 62 MPG on FDR north bond in a warm day and yet air con is not needed. Average out all year round, I got 43 MPG. I am the only owner, non smoker. All scheduled maintenance was done at Toyota Manhattan dealer. I'll provide you a copy of full receipts. Currently the odometer is at 28000 miles. Since I am still driving, the mileage will accumulate at about 200 miles a week. My bank, MCU has a lien on the title. The liens will take you one more piece of paper-work from my bank to your DMV. Just like the so called certified pre-owned from the dealers, my baby's exterior is freshly re-painted by Toyota Manhattan's chosen body shop at 47th Street, and interior shampooed. The major preventative maintenance (30K miles) was just done on 9/3/2010 at the Toyota Manhattan dealer. That's a big saving for you. Fresh Toyota OEM headlights were installed by Toyota Manhattan during this maintenance. The headlight should last you another three years or so. Powertrain, corrosion, and Restraint system Warranty has 23 months left. The Hybrid System Warranty has 59 more months to left (72,000 miles more to go). But the overall 36-month Toyota Basic Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty just expired. History indicates: when properly maintained, the Toyota Prius will give you years of worry free driving. The tires usually last 5 to 6 years. I used 3 years. That leaves you 2 to 3 years before you have to change the tires. If you run into a flat tire situation, use the spare tire and drive to a Toyota dealer to fix it. Never fix a tire anywhere else because the tire has electronic sensors and communicates with the on-board computer. My Prius has never been in any accident or a flood. In more than 15 years (including and beyond this Prius), I never had any accidents nor tickets. I drive my car in a very calculated manner. The hospital my wife used to work at cut her hours to zip, nothing, zippo! I have to re-budget my family expenses.
