He was guided in starting his business by his uncle, John Short, who owned several new and used car dealerships throughout Texas over the course of more than 30 years in the business. My Dad and I continue to work together: he sells vehicles strictly from his storefront just as he has done for the past 20 years, while I have chosen to cater to the online community.
