Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1993 BMW 325is because I am ready for a new car. There are minor issues with the car and most of them will be fixed before the car is sold. The drivers door will not latch shut for some reason and that just happened this week. I know its a simple fix and I will probably have it done myself. There are a few minor dents but the car runs very well. I purchased the car from an auction about 8 months ago and 3 months after I bought it I put a transmision in it. There is a light that comes on sometimes and i have looked in the book and it is the automatic transmission light. When it comes on I just turn the car on and off until it goes off. I have checked the price and its only $100 for a new one. I have changed the timing belt and the ac belt myself in the last 2 months as well as put all new disc breaks all the way around the car. I have also put a brand ne engine computer in which was another $400. The interior does have a few spots where the leather shows some age but it is a 93. Like I said though I drove to Florida and back in the last month or so and did not have one problem. The drivers door panel could use replaced but I found a set of 2 on ebay for only $100. This is a really sharp car and it will not take much to have it looking really nice. It already looks good from the outside and I have not had one person tell me it was older than a 98. Nice first car for a college student or just a great car for anyone. The hood latch is pictured as well wich will need to be replaced. I use a pair of pliers from the inside to open it and its no big deal but that again is only $100 to fix. The engine does not smoke and it does not tick at all. The tranny takes a sec to kick into first when you first start the car sometimes but thats just because I got the new tranny and I have not put fluid in it yet. Don't miss out on this great deal for your childs first car. Very dependable. If you have questions please ask.
