Vehicle Detail
**Classic 1972 International Scout II w/ 345 V8 Engine** *Air Conditioner*Rancho Suspension*Detroit Lockers* Very Low Reserve Must Sell Fast! I’ve had this Scout for over 15 years. It has been great to me and my family. Overall it has sat in my garage. I take out to enjoy once in awhile very fun to drive. Its’ never been off road. I am selling because I think its time to move on, plus I lack space. The Scout is very dependable truck and can be used as a daily driver if desired. The truck is not in perfect cosmetically, but what 38 year old truck is. The scout has a strong engine and transmission. It doesn’t overheat at all. The scout has current tags and insurance. Runs very smooth and has power on and off road. Engine: 345 V8 Engine with good compression. I don’t have the compression numbers but the readings were in good range. Features, Hooker headers, Schnider Highlift Cam, 650cfm Edelbrock Carburetor, and K&N air filter. Small oil leak at the oil pan drain plug. 8.8 Accel Spark plug wires, Mallory Electric Coil and distributor. 4 row Radiator. DOESN’T OVER HEAT! Transmission: Manual T9 Transmission 4 Gears. Clucth in excellent condition. Redone last year with all new parts. Suspension: Front and Rear Detroit Locker gears. Front 393 and Rear 41. 6inch Rancho Suspension Lift. Interior: Decent shape for a 38 year old truck. It features new seat covers. The seats on the surface are worn. Doors open and close. Windows go up and down. Custom Mallory dash gauges. Heavy duty jack. Signals and lights work. Heater works. Air conditioner works. Exterior: As you can see from the pictures this truck once had a $5k paint job but after years of wear it has minor clear peeling and a few of surface cancer (not to bad) spots very common for all trucks and cars this year. Overall the paint is still in decent shape depends how you see it. The cancer is not beyond the current areas. Soft top is worn minor water entry when it rains. Its my opinion a new soft top or hard top is needed. Rims and Tires: Rims 5x12.5 – Tires 33 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain. Tires 60-70 % life. Off Road Lights: Hella Lights Air Compression: Air Compress Connection available to inflate tires or use impact gun. Stereo: Alpine Cassette Player w/remote. Title: Clean California Title Overall: Dependable daily driver. Runs good on highway. Doesn’t burn oil. Doesn’t over heat. Shipping or Local Pick Welcomed: I’m located in Los Angeles 15 minutes from Disneyland off the 105/710 Freeway. Shipping must be arranged by buyer. Buyer pays shipping. PS I’m selling this truck for a close friend. Payment arrangements will be determined at end of auction. My friend will be the guy you deal with at the time of buying. I have 100% Feedback. Thank you!
