Vehicle Detail

Relisted, with no reserve, ok Toyota fans, don't miss out on a very nice rust free Celica that needs very little to be perfect. It's a 1985 Toyota Celica GT liftback. It appears to be a very nice car for it's age. It runs but the engine makes noise (maybe just a bad belt tensioner???). It's rust free except one tiny hole in the drivers rear rocker panel (quarter sized). The interior is in really nice shape for it's age, minor sun damage to the passenger seat and the tops of the split rear seat. Radio is missing, door panels and headliner are perfect. It may have one repaint but it's the original color. Good tires on nice original wheels. This is the model with roll down windows, no sunroof, no power door locks. It has tilt, cruise, automatic, and A/C. 22RE engine is complete including the rubber distributor cover. It has a few dents on the rear passenger quarter panel and the front lower air spoiler is missing. Normally I would fix this car and sell it but I just don't have time for it now. It seems to me that this car has sat around for most of it's years. Maybe a good weekend of TLC and the engine fixed, which may be a very minor problem, and it would be a nice classic Celica. You can call me directly at 941-322-4330, JasonOn Oct-10-10 at 05:02:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 10-10-10, I put a new battery in this car and fired it up. It has no oil pressure, and probably has a spun bearing and a loud tapping in the valve cover area. The A/C works great and the transimssion shifts well. The engine noise is a tap until you rev it and it sounds like it's coming to pieces. Diagnosis. bad oil pump lead to engine damage. With that said, it's a very nice car with the exception of the engine problem, everything seems to work on it except I can't get the headlights to go down. This car would definitely be worth doing the engine work too. Even with the damage, it starts and idles very well. It also has nearly new tires and the brakes work great. The engine may be fixable with the engine in the car. I am pretty sure that it's the number one cylinder that's spun. If you've already bid without knowing this info, feel free to retract your bid if you no longer have interest. Otherwise, I'll try to put up a youtube video of the engine noise.
