Vehicle Detail
1985 Jaguar XJS with only 64,500 on the body. The motor is a 383 V8 Chevrolet Stroker Motor. It has a 400 Turbo transmission and it shifts nice. The car can be a daily driver since it is reliable. A very nice job was done with this conversion. The brakes are in great condition. The rear brakes are new rotors and pads costing over $1000 for that job. The tires new in the front and like new snow type tires in the back. The factory wheels are in excellent shape original condition with no curb marks. The car was treated with respect as you will see in the pictures. The body only has about 64,500 original miles and the speedometer and odometer is working properly. The tachometer (rpm monitor) is not working. The motor was set up to not include an air conditioning compressor but you can add one. All of the a/c componenents are there from the factory. The paint is brilliant and shiney. It looks like some of the car has had paintwork but not for bondo rust fill. There is a scrape on the drivers side door as seen in the pictures and a ding on the top of the fender on the passenger side. The ding can be taken out w/ ding paintless repair places. The body and bottom is really nice and clean. The power windows, locks, and mirrors are all working. The lights, horn, wipers, power antenna, and so on are working. The Pioneer radio is newer and works very nice. The inside of the car smells like a new leather jacket! The trunk is nice and clean. The exhaust is a dual exhaust that is solid as you can see from the pictures. There is a spot for converters where the spacers are. The spacers are about a foot long and could use some snugging up of the bolts. A little air passes through. No big deal just being honest. You will love this car!! There is nothing like it and it is a very stunning classic! Powerful and graceful as well. You are sure to enjoy all of the attention this car gets! It's really fun to drive as you can imagine. It's not a race car since the car is pretty heavy but it goes nice. The motor alone had over $1,000 in machine work alone. It starts right up and is ready for a long road trip. The car runs and drives great on the highway. Smooth as silk at 75 MPH. Many thumbs up. I have no extra fees in my auctions. No extra paperwork fees. It's on me. If you need shipping I have a great shipper that has shipped over 70 cars for me. Out of the Country bidders welcome of course. Thank you for your interest.
