I'm selling my '89 BMW M3. I've owned this E30 M3 for 13 years. It has always been in Arizona or Texas. No rust and the paint is still shiny. It was my daily driver for years (cruise control still works) before I slowly transformed it into a track car. It's gutted but could be returned to stock. Shiny Red original paint. Rebuilt 2.3l S14 motor (less than 1000 miles since), ceramic coated pistons, reground 284/276 cams, custom IIGO chip, new oil pump and chain, new bearings, block honed, colder range NGK plugs. Lightweight Flywheel and 6 puck racing clutch. New In-tank fuel pump and filter Heater core bypassed Custom 3” exhaust, Magnaflow 3” racing cat acting as resonator, Magnaflow muffler. Sounds incredible. 17” E46 wheels with older Michelins Pilot Sports 235/40/17 will include stock 15" spare, 2mm spacer in front and 20 mm spacer in rear on extra long wheel studs. Incredible braking. Autopower Bolt-in 6 pt cage painted red very close to exterior color I have two seats bolted in place. Like new Black Momo suede steering wheel Most of the interior is removed. Most of the sound deadening is gone. A/C removed. Oversized Aluminum Radiator with electric fan. Engine fan removed. Sunroof is riveted in. Will include aluminum plug also. Short Shifter from a 545i stick. I used some aluminum sheet to fabricate a 3” gurney flap and a 4” splitter. Very effective on our local tracks. New right rear wheel bearing. Redline Fluids throughout. Issues: There is a scrape on the corner of the hood about 2" long (long story). The passenger door has some paint checking. It has slowly gotten worse since I've owned it. The door must have been resprayed before I bought it. The car sat out this track season. I'd check out the motor and trans mounts, replace the fluids, and do a good nuts and bolts check before hitting the track. The battery needs charging. One of the tires has a leak. I have the spare mounted now. The dash guages are intermittent. I've included an extra Service Indicator board with fresh batteries to solve this. I have a few more pictures and a few videos. Someone else should be. I plan to include all the spares I have for the car. The driver's seat bottom needs recovering. I always just sat on a towel in the hot sun. I tried to show the sunroof mechanism removed. If I was restoring the car, I'd find a non-sunroof headliner.
