On Oct-09-10 at 20:10:51 PDT, seller added the following information: What a terrible week for me to wind up in the hospital! I apologize to all of you bidders and watchers who have been waiting for my description to come online. I certainly had no idea I would have to go to the emergency room and then spend most of the week in the hospital, right smack in the middle of this auction. Anyway, I'm out, so on to the business at hand: This is one decked-out car. We were a "Cadillac Family" most of my life, so I know Cadillacs, and I can say with almost total confidence that this Buick Park Avenue Ultra has all the luxury features of its Cadillac contemporaries, from the dual air bags, to the traction control, to the dual-zone heating and cooling, to the seats that move every which way, to the comfort of the ride, to the trunk that is cavernous even while it conceals the spare tire within it. I am selling it because my work demands a van, and I can't keep both. As can be seen in the pictures, including a dedicated close-up shot, the passenger side assist handle is missing. I had thought the original radio was also missing, but I have found and reinstalled the radio since taking the first set of photos, which you can see in this new photo: When I first start her up, at idle speed, there is a rattle under the hood that goes away once moving. I have yet to find anyone who can identify the source, so I assume it's something lose and harmless, but if it concerns you I welcome you to order the independant inspection. Also, the trunk latch has not been working lately. This is a non-smoker vehicle, meaning I did not even allow passengers to smoke in it. I just put a brand new battery in it. All four tires were recently replaced and are in great shape, as you can see from the close-up pictures. The Turbo/Supercharger works great, and the huge sunroof -- my favorite feature -- works perfectly, both tilting and opening wide.
