Interior is clean and serviceable w/no rips/tears. Carpet appears newer. Desirable early sliding window/external hinge model with 850 engine and “magic wand” shifter. It has the starter button on the floor. Idles smoothly, drives smoothly through all gears and really pulls away quite smartly for such a small engine. Starts fine hot or cold. Oil pressure is excellent as is the running temperature. Mileage shows 13,719 (probably not genuine). Some bubbling in front wheel arch areas but overall very sound. Wood is good. Tires have good tread but are showing some crazing in the sidewall. Brakes and clutch operate as they should. Electrics operate correctly (brake lights, turn signals, lights, etc). Chrome is excellent. I bought the car out of California as a driver but really haven’t driven it but a few miles to the ice cream stand and back with my wife. I own five other collector vehicles and this 6th became too much! No, the ‘benz, TVR and Landrover 109 you can see in the background are not for sale! Vehicle is in my possession in Lincoln, NE with a clean title and no liens. Wire transfer or cash in person please. Lincoln, NE sits right on I80 in the middle of the country so shipping is easy. DAS (http://www.dasautoshippers.com/) seems to be the most reasonable. I just used them to ship my ‘benz from Jersey. My zip is 68522 and NO I don’t know how much it will be to ship…try calling a shipping company. I can deliver the car to a shipping depot in Omaha or Lincoln or the shipper can pick up from my house (I have room for a semi to turn around), however shipping is NOT included and you must arrange for shipping yourself (I will just assist with loading/drop off etc). Of course, you can drive to wonderful NE with a trailer and pick it up if you like. For those with ideas of flying in and driving home, I say “sure” as long as you like adventure. Both United and Delta fly into Lincoln (LNK). Winning bidder must wire full payment within 72h. Upon receipt of cash, I will overnight the title to address of your choice, at my expense. You may also show up in person and pay cash. No paypal, MOs, WU, etc etc etc. Car must be shipped and/or picked up within 10 calendar days. If you haven’t gotten pre-approval from your wife, dog, SO, mom or bank manager, please don’t bid. This is not an auction to inspect the vehicle, it’s an auction to buy it AS-IS, WHERE IS.
