This 1984 Mercury Topaz Diesel was a daily driver all summer and is now just driven every so offen. Would trust to go anywhere at any time in it. The new parts include a new ford dealer Starter, alternator, starter solenoid, exhaust, windshield wiper motor, front brake pads, brake calipers and replaced the thermostat with a 180, might want to replace with a 195 for this winter. The cruise control works and all the lights work as they should, NO cracks in the glass, The emergency Brake works and I use it everytime I park the car. There is a button on the dash where the glow plug relay is bypassed. Does start right up. Also being 27 years old things do happen and problems will happen, no guarentee on parts or any part of the car. The body seems to be in good shape for being 27 years old, the trunk lid has the most rust, does not leak as to what i can tell. The a/c does NOT work, Also not sure of the true miles on the car only having 5 digits, could be 1xx,xxx, 2xx,xxx I dont know.
