Available for your consideration is a very clean and rare 1980 Rover 3500 V8 sedan. This is one of 800 vehicles that were built to be sold in the US. The total number that was actually sold is unknown. Some say there was considerably less and only a few that were built for the US exist today. The most noticeable difference is the uncovered headlights compared to the european version. This vehicle was designed to be a high end luxury vehicle with sports car performance. This 3500 is powered by an all aluminum 215 V8. The engine is the exact same blueprints from GM as a Buick V8. Rover bought the specs on this engine from GM years ago. Rover had taken this engine and upgraded it in many ways. The injection system and heads were all redone through Rover Rover had taken a very good engne and had made it great. Gm even attempted to buy the redfined engine back from Rover. A engine that was used in many vehicles including modified ones for Indy cars. A very popular and reliable engine that is lightweight and has excellent performance. A very unique vehicle. If you are familiar with these vehicles I need not explain the attraction.
