An Original One Of A Kind - 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser - FJ 40 Beautiful Restoration - Factory Power Steering and Factory AC Included When it comes to desirability, the final years of the FJ-40 are at the top. Power-Steering, Higher Gearing for more comfortable high way driving, and A/C came standard. 1982 was the second to last year for the FJ-40 and she was definitely at her prime. This '82 Land Cruiser has lived a rare life. Unlike most cruisers who have either sat for long periods of time, or rusted into the ground, this FJ-40 has been driven regularly and maintained responsibly since her birth. She lived the majority of her life in Missoula, Montana where she almost never wore a top. In other words she was only driven during the warm and dry months. Fortunately this cruiser saw an average of less than 7000 annual miles, which has allowed her to stay fit and strong. The 4-Speed Transmission shifts smoothly through Reverse, 1-4. The transfer case shifts smoothly and easily from High 2 to High 4 and Low 4. The front hubs lock in and out to engage Four Wheel Drive. The steering is tight and the breaks are strong. Her In-Line 6 Cylinder Engine pulls hard, is bullet-proof and fires up instantly. She is capable of maintaining 65MPH on the interstate but I would not call her a highway vehicle. She's designed to transport you from home to the remotest of locations and back in unquestionably distinct style and pleasure. If you're looking for the luxury, technology and ride of a 2011 Land Cruiser, go buy one. But if you're looking for a one of a kind piece of Toyota history then look no further. She comes to you bone stock with the exception of a modest lift (2.5in OME, Pro Comp). She's been tastefully restored to her showroom condition with NO RUST and has been garage kept since new. OEM replacement parts have been used almost exclusively. She has approximately 2500 miles on her since the restoration. The restoration was thorough and smooth. Using the factory Nortic Blue and the proper single stage paint, this cruiser’s body should be better than when it rolled off of the showroom floor! If you have the means, I would recommend coming out to look for yourself. If it was in need of restoration or replacement, it was restored or replaced. New; visors, glove box schematic, shifter knobs, door handles, strikers, door seals, top seal, speakers, CD player (Pioneer w/satellite radio, auxiliary input and Ipod controls, rear seat belts, bumper, emblems, turn signals, bumperetts and so on and so forth. I restored the; glove box, seats, center console, doors, top, license plate holder and lights, swing out and so on and so forth. Naturally it depends where you live, but from my experience most shippers could take one of these from Florida to California for less than $1000. Shorter distances are naturally cheaper and it PAYS to shop around. I never intended on selling this truck, but a 2000+ mile relocation has forced me to shed some weight. My loss.. Your gain.
