Vehicle Detail
We bought the car with the intention to fix it up and sell it but I've got too many other projects to take on this one. Previous owner had the car for ten years and drove it 3k miles. We changed all the fluids, gave the car a tune-up, put in a new battery and it started right up. Engine is strong. Clutch is strong, Tranny feels good. We replaced the drag link center, idler arm and bushings. Replaced shocks with KYBs in back, but kept the original bilsteins if someone wanted to refurbish them. Car drives straight and still puts you back in your seat accelerating in 4th. New gas tank. Previous owner had some of the leather redone. Sweet Nardi steering wheel. Dual weber carbs. Four wheel discs. Car has some surface rust areas on parts of the body. Left front fender needs replaced, right top needs replaced. Rear shock towers show ZERO rust. Front tower braces show some surface near the mounts, but definitely not on the mounts. Interior is in good shape but the wood needs refinished. Driver's seat has new upholstery but is starting to tear, passenger bottom needs redone. This car is a classic. 451 in 1970 were brought to the US. The car has very low miles and just needs someone to finish the restoration. Have clear clean title with actual mileage noted. Hate to see it go. Car is listed for sale locally. I will end the auction if it sells locally before the auction's end. .This car in #1 condition is a $15-$18k car. Rust buckets are worth $4k - This is a fabulous runner with some rust areas. Car didn't sell in the last auction due to a bidder's information being used by an unauthorized party. Ebay pulled the bid after the car reached its reserve and then rejected the bid. Car's back for sale. Previous auction winner decided after he won the auction, he didn't need to pay for the car and ignored all attempts at communicating with him. So...the car's back on ebay - serious bidders please. If you really don't want the car don't bid on it. Certainly don't bid on it after the reserve's been met.
