Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0L Black on Black hatchback. I have a clean title in hand. I have too many toys and something has to go. This has been my 3 season driver for the last 5 years. It has been a great car and I hate to let her go. I bought the car in 2005 with 129k on it and now it has 170k, again I only drove this car from the end of April through the end of October. As far as I was told it was driven all year by the first owner and for the first two years of the second owner then stored every winter since. I am not going to lie there is a little rust under the vehicle and some spots on some panels. The second owner used to road course race the car and the metal behind the front and rear wheels took a beating and have some rust. The other spot is on the rear of the hatch. I think the car had a cheap paint respray before I bought it and now there are some fading on the hood and rear spoiler. The interior is in nice shape for the age, some fading as well. This was the nicest car I found in 2005 when I went looking for one in a specific price range. I also checked the bad common areas of rust, such as the front frame rail and floor pans and again was the cleanest out of about ten mustangs I looked at. The two front tires will be in need of replacement. The inner tread is low from cornering. The car handles extremely well and I would sometimes push the car around corners. It does have more of a rough ride with the low stance, but it never bothered me. You will notice it on crappy roads. It is very smooth on good roads. The rear main was dry when I bought the car, now it is damp but no leaking. It is the original as far as I know as well as all other gaskets except for the gaskets between the intakes because of the spacer. Here is the modifications done by the second owner and myself. On Sep-29-10 at 11:24:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Well, I asked if this car was ever in an accident and never found out. I know the left front fender was replaced because there was no vin tag. Now I know the second owner wasn't lying, the accident was from the first owner by the report. Well I bought the car that way and it never bothered me for a daily driver. I haven't had the car emissions tested because it is exempt where I live. All the emissions stuff is there and intact. It should pass, there is now check engine light on. One more thing I forgot, the airbag light flashes. I forgot what code but that didn't bother me as well. Thanks.
